MBM-AC is a joint venture company between Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum Investment (MBM), Dubai, and AC Consultancy FZCO, Dubai. AC was founded by four German senior and serial entrepreneurs with meaningful backgrounds in the financial - and IT industry - but also within the UAE.

 

MBM – AC was set up in order to develop and implement Blockchain based business models for the financial industry.

The focus is on the implementation of globally accessible blockchain based trading platforms for digital assets. Those platforms shall in particular cater the needs of institutional investors around the world but also the needs of the world of Islamic Finance.

The goal of MBM-AC is to have two platforms fully up and running latest by 2020 – the year of the EXPO 2020 in Dubai. Therefore the launch of those platforms is planned for the end of 2018 in order to ensure full and proven operability for 2020.

From a regulatory perspective MBM-AC is focussing its activities on the UAE and the EU.

MBM-AC is also embarking on the development of a new and innovative digital currency called Arabcoin.
